I went to a pet store client one time and he had a baby bear in he
store we could play with. I don't mean pet, I mean pick up and
play with it! The cub was about 2 1/2 feet long and still being
bottle fed I believe.
I was so astounded when I played with it! The strength of the
cubs muscles was unbelievable! Here he was looking so sweet,
fluffy and cuddly but when you held him (more like wrestled with
him) you could feel every muscle and tendon in his little body
ripple. I was so surprised. Even on the strength thing it wasn't
like anything I have ever really encountered, it was so different.
Here he was just a little guy and he was already SOooooo
impressively strong. The closest thing I can think of that would
demonstrate the power would be trying to make a grown bull go the
way you wanted him to with a rope when he didn't want to. I tried
that with a 900 pound bull and he dragged my large bod around like
I was a wet noodle just flopping behind him.
You expect to feel and see the power in a large animal but to
see such sheer natural power in a small animal really wakes you up
to the wonders of nature.
