Diane, I missed your first post. But, what I did to save my pumpkin's life was, when I saw the damage, I covered the base with dirt and compost. Then, I just took off the leaves that had the grub in them. I do have some nematodes that I could inject in the leaves, but I'm too lazy so far to do that. Hope this helps.
