[gardeners] When to prune Brugmansia ?

Greetings:
   I grew my first Brugmansia this summer (x insignis from Heronswood).
It is in a large pot on back deck with SW exposure; it is now
about 3 feet tall and flowered profusely for its age.

   It has shown no damage from overnight temperatures in the lower 40s (F),
but it will soon be time to bring it inside. When should it be pruned ?
Now, or in the spring before I take it back out ? Thanks for any and all
advice.
