Cheryl, yes, Jimmie is the one and only man of the house in
this neighborhood who works in the garden, you are right. 
On Hallowe'en night, when the new neighbors with young children
came by to ring the bell for treats,  one stranger spoke to me
saying how much she enjoyed seeing the results of all our
work...  Only, said she, I _worry_ about your hubby!  So do I, 
I told her...  He walks bent forward, which makes him look 
103 in the shade...  and as you know, he's only 78. 

But you cannot keep a good man down....~!
