Hi Mary-Anne and George - I buy cornichons and they are sweet.  DH won't eat them.  I must check to see if I can find the Maille ones next time I visit a particular store.  I'd imagien the sweetness comes from the type of brine used.  Glad to see someone else likes pate and raclette.  Must talk to you off line and see what you use  Mary-Anne.  Haven't done one since Christmas.

Del Dixie is a southern brand and the small pickles are sweet. You could
add French tarragon to the jar and they would probably taste similar.
