Hi All,
I found some Brandywine and Black Brandywine tomato plants at a roadside
nursery in Brenham, on Hwy 290. I planted them today. Any one have any
experience with these two? Tried another new one, Surefire.
This week, I'll be adding some of my old standbyes like Bingo, Merced,
Celebrity, Carnival, and Heatwave.
I just went over my old garden records. The cherry tomato that has been
coming up as a volunteer all over my garden for the last 3 years is Small
Fry, not Sweet 100 as I thought. I've managed to give away about 50 of them
so far. I wish that I could find some more people to give them to. I hate to
hoe them down like weeds.
I have just about finished planting peppers for this spring. I 've
planted Anaheim Chili, Ancho, Habanero, and Jalapeno, for hot peppers. Sweet
Banana, Big Bertha Bell, Jupiter Bell, and Ivory Bell.
