Penny,
    Down South many of the birds raise at least 2 broods, many raise 3.
Cardinals, Mockingbirds, Carolina Chickadees, Blue Birds, Mourning Doves,
Carolina Wrens are just a few that come to mind that do nest here.
    Ruby-throated Hummingbirds take bird baths in the dew trapped on the
larger leaves, like corn.
    I'm trying to find some ducks. They don't scratch like Guinea Hens.
Chickens peck at tomatos. Emus step on stuff with their big feet. They are
nuts about tomatos, too.
