[gardeners] Friday somewhat in the garden

Just came in about 7 pm from picking a few pods of okra and a handful of sweet
and hot chiles. Had to turn all the soaker hoses on again as the soil is dry
down about two inches now. It's only been three days since they were run last
and soaked about an inch into the ground. Guess I'll leave them on longer now.
The beauty of soaker hoses is you can run them at night without fear of damaging
plants as you would with sprinklers.

I had a bug of some kind most of the day and spent a lot of time running for the
bathroom. Miz Anne wasn't affected so it wasn't what I cooked last night,
eggplant and onions baked in light coconut milk. I didn't care for it but she
liked it. The t-bone steak cooked on the grill with rosemary twigs for smoke was
more to my taste as were the home canned green beans.

Gotta work a couple of hours tomorrow for a client who is in a bind but turned
him down for Sunday, gotta have a full day off once in awhile.

The advantage to a home office was evident today, the bathroom is only about ten
feet away. <VBG>

Happy gardening.
