George, I think I goofed. I've never seen a cutworm. Don't know it's color. The green worm I was thinking about is really a tomato horn worm -- which I think might be a caterpillar..? That's the one you don't want to have bite you while you are plucking your 'maters. It's the very same color as the tomato foliage, just to make life more difficult. I do know that people get cutworms up here, if they do not place some sort of barrier around their plants. George, now I see that I have made yet another mistake. Tomato hornwom or tobacco hornworm? Those I have seen -- ugly, large, horned brutes, and as I said before, the same color as the stems they walk up.
