Just got back about 30 minutes ago from my trip to the Houston area. Had a nice visit with daughter and her kids and Miz Anne went to a baby shower for our first great-grandchild. The grandsons bought a 1995 GMC Sonoma truck while I was there and are buying a rebuilt engine for it tomorrow. I was amazed to find out they are both quite the competent auto mechanics. Eldest boy is working for UPS and is also selling real estate on afternoons and weekends. Youngest boy is working at a Sonic drive in as a fry cook but is thinking about quitting as the grease smell aggravates his sinuses. Both will probably start hanging garage doors in between other jobs this month. Busy, busy people. Sleepy Dawg and I took several naps in between doing "honey-do's" for the daughter. Brought the chain saw home and am anxious now to figure out how I'm going to attempt to carve those two stumps in the backyard. On the way home we drove through a tremendous rainstorm between Cleveland and Batson, TX on Highway 105. I was down to 25 mph and would have pulled off if there had been shoulders on the road. As it was we finally pulled out of the storm and kicked it on up for home. I would estimate we were in the storm for about 45 minutes with visibility reduced to the lines on the road and about 10 feet in front of the car. I'm still nervous about it. We evidently had a small rain here while we were gone too. Back to work tomorrow but in the meantime I'm gonna put my feet up for awhile. Life is good. George
