George, I'd be happy to come on down this weekend to assist in
the rust chipping. In fact, I'll get my hubby and five kids together
for the project.
Now let me see.... 7 round-trip tickets on Delta or United or AA --
better repair my abacus. Oh yes, and we are all hearty eaters.
Very impressive list of museum ships! We have a carrier parked
right in the Hudson River, and a sub up in Mystic, Ct., and
something else huge down near Washington, DC., all of which I've
climbed aboard with pleasure. But I don't think I'd be happy at sea --
once upon a time we shared a 32ft ketch, and the minute it tilted
with the wind, I wanted to abandon ship.
I do think I'd prefer the Air Force. Maybe it's because I like the
view...
