It's 50F outside right now (2:25pm CST) and I just harvested about a half gallon
of mixed chiles and the plants are still blooming and producing. The rain has
finally stopped after about 48 hours of it, never really heavy but a steady
drizzle for that long. Rain gauge shows 5 inches and it hasn't run over yet as
it holds 6 inches. If our normal rainfall has returned I may have to put a five
gallon bucket up on a post to measure rainfall.

Everything looks green and growing, particularly the bunching onions, they're
bunched into groups of 4 or 5 each and about 24 inches tall now. Reckon I'll
have to start harvesting and chopping pretty soon. I know the local place that
feeds the hungry can use a lot so we'll keep what we need and provide Abraham's
Tent with the rest. Took them a bucket full of radishes Friday and they were
happy to see something fresh.

We've been juicing about a dozen big lemons today, got six ice cube trays full
and a quart in the refrigerator of juice. There are still about 2 dozen more
lemons to go but we'll take them in stages. I ate a ripe kumquat while I was out
picking the lemons too. There should be more ripening in the next couple of
days.
