George, they're not caterpillars -- they leave thin black holes in
the radishes. Have never used BT, but will look into it.
Looks like the snow has changed to rain for the moment.
Depressing weather -- snow is always more cheerful..! We
still have snow in amongst the foundation planting. Used to
get our crocuses in February, on the warm side of the house.
They could never have come up thru the mountain of snow
and ice out there, from Jimmie's happy shoveling! He had
5 lovely snowstorms to shovel thru, this winter -- lucky boy..
