Ah, Ron -- you speak of Paradise, not home...  

How can any one home owner have all that glorious success at
one time...? I don't see how you can tear yourself away to go to
work!  

Am I correct that the artichokes like the cooler winter weather 
and the lack of rain, followed by a supply of rain but not any
noticable heat...?  

Artichokes in our markets are still wildly expensive.  They are
currently charging $1.50 for one medium to small sized. 

In the dead heat of summertime, how much water do you provide
to  them..? When you travel East in April, will you have an 
automatic watering setup? 

Penny, zone 6 and still snow covered.
