Hi all,
Spent yesterday doing some work around the house, including replacing =
the CD player in our computer. Got a really nice 12X10X32 Cendyne =
CD-RW. Our old CD-DVD was not reading anything. Sometimes we would put =
in a CD and have the entire computer freezup while it clicked away =
trying to read from it. All of those CD's work fine in the new one. I =
will eventually get a new CD-DVD for the computer, but I think a new DVD =
player for the TV comes first. We only have 2 DVD's anyway. =20

In the garden I got to see my first Impatien seed head pop. I had heard =
all of you talk about it for years now, but never seen one before it =
popped. This one popped in my hand when I reached in to see what it =
was. What fun. I want another, but there are none there. I searched =
and searched. =20

A pkg from Paradise Gardens came with some Dahlia that I had forgotten =
were coming. Since I filled in their space I will have to find =
someplace else for them. I think they can go in behind the =
strawberries. They will make a nice backdrop since my blueberries did =
not survive. Only got a few leaves then they dried up and are gone. =
There is no green wood left at all. =20

In other news I got a new garden swing from Costco. Well, I don't have =
it yet. All they had was the display and more are supposed to come in =
on Sat. So I will head out there late Sat or Mon and pick it up. They =
put my name on the display, just in case the order doesn't come in. I =
had been looking for a swing since my B-day when an aunt sent me a check =
to get myself something for the garden. There were so many porch swings =
that needed a protected area, but this one is for outdoor use. I love =
it, and can't wait to get it home. This one has a stylized metal A =
frame with canopy and fabric covered padding. It will be as much of a =
decoration as a place to sit. Best part it was half the price of the =
less sturdy ones I had been looking at. =20
Can you tell I am excited?
