George it is not nice to talk about fig jam or anything fig ......I know I
have a fig and last
year we even got to eat some but didn't have enough to have jam or
preserves.....mine
fig is just starting to leaf out.....it's coming back from the roots this
year so prob. won't
have any figs that get  ripe this year but last year was wonderful.

Barb.....in SW Kansas were we claim we are Zone 5 instead of 6 to be
sure....
