[gardeners] Giant Chinese trumpet lilly

Good morning, friends,

I was just curious if any of you has ever had a Chinese trumpet lilly 7'
tall. Our plants have  velvety red/mauve petals and are on the most
massive stems I have ever seen. Last year, they grew as tall as I am
(6'), and we thought that was unusual. This year, before flowering, they
are a full head higher than I am. We are astounded. When the bloom, they
will be taller than our garden wall!!!
