Woke up this morning to a small norther blowing through. At this time it is a very pleasant 70F and
a slight northerly breeze. I have the house all opened up getting some of the summertime funk out
and it's just nice out. When the sun comes up and burns off the nightly dew I shall go out and mow
the front lawn. Will have to set the mower up to the top notch and cut it twice, either that or hire
someone to cut and bail.

All we have left in the gardens are crowder peas, okra, and eggplant. Most every thing else either
sunscalded or drowned during the recent down pours. Local weatherman says we have had double our
normal rainfall this year so looks like we're headed for another 100 inch year like we had in 1991.
Gotta go, looking for some cabbage plants and a couple of broccoli plants too. Gonna plant stuff
this weekend like carrots, radishes, etc. Forgot to mention that the hot chiles are really blooming,
get some sun and there will be many, many.

Life is good.
