Ron, I HATE to hear of your cold weather woes -- I can just visualize
you and Vivian working out in that chill in an attempt to protect
your trees and plants. With the oranges, does the fruit drop but the
trees can survive? 

Of course, we don't have semi-tropicals here. Our worst damage 
comes from snow only covering half of a bush, for instance, so that
the top half can die from the cold or wind. 

I read last week that some growers hire a helicopter to keep the
air circulation going around their crops. Could you put out 
several electric blowers?
