Ron, I totally forgot about the Labni (Lebni?), the thick Middle Eastern
yogurt!  I shall drive the 10 miles over and treat myself to some for
Mother's Day -- what an idea!

You know, as a youngster I adored nectarines. Today we only seem 
able to buy mealy ones. They are large, unblemished, a beautiful 
dark red, and tasteless. I suppose they are not local produce -- this
is apple growing country, don't know about stone fruit.
