Ron, if you read up on the shingles-chicken pox story, you
will see that someone who has never had chicken pox can
never get the shingles from someone else with the
shingles, but CAN GET THE CHICKEN POX, if he or she
touches the broken blisters .......

A person who has had a vaccination against chicken pox
carries NO part of the virus for life in his nerves, and
therefore will never get the shingles! OTOH, a person
who has once had the real chicken pox will always carry
the virus in his nerves, and stands a very large chance
of getting shingles as an adult.
