Ron, you're doing something wrong with your compost heap if its smelly and attracts bugs. Ours never
smells and never has bugs. You have to have the right mix of brown and green stuff to get it heating
and then it composts down very quickly. If it is dry where you are it wouldn't hurt to water it once
a week either. Composting is an art but not a science. <VBG>
