It has turned off cold and dreary here in CajunLand and it's even
starting to rain a bit. On top of that the nice young lady across the
street is having a garage sale - bah humbug. Why is it that people
attending garage sales forget common courtesy? Had to take some of Miz
Anne's paintings to a show in the next town and went out to back out of
the driveway. Three garage salers were in my driveway and some lady had
left her car in the street with the engine running and both front doors
open. It took a lot of coolth to not scream and yell at the discourteous
idiots. The young lady who was having the garage sale apologized to me
and I guess things are better, when I got home neither the street nor
the driveway were blocked and some guy, I think her dad, was directing
traffic. Humph, grumble, grunt, groan.

Anyway the sweet and hot chiles are dead as are the last of the
tomatoes, looks like that wind and rain storm of Tuesday morning,
followed by two days of sunshine, has done them in. Weather gets better
I will pull them and trash them. Looks as though the winter garden
survived quite well so we may get some cabbage, carrots, etc later.

For you working stiffs, I'm gonna go take a nap. Nyah!
