Make marmalade!

We picked a 5 gallon bucket of beautiful organic olives yesterday at a
retreat in Brentwood. We begin the cracking, water baths, and curing
process of salt brine, then lemon juice. A great way to use the bounty of
Meyer Lemons coming on.

We'll transfer the gallon jars to our son for maintenance while we are in
Thailand.

I am so looking forward to visiting the large Tropical Gardens outside
Pattaya, and the orchid farms near Chiang Mai.

We will be pulling out the tomato plants and digging in composted cow poop in
preparation for planting the next phase. My son is planting 350 onions this
year! I think we'll plant 150 or 200. Mainly planting Stockton Reds and
Whites. Son is also planting Torpedo and yellows.

Fried Green Tomatoes on the dinner menu! Maybe I'll pickle the green cherry
maters.
