I don't know where you are but I am in central Oklahoma. I have a dianthus
plant of some sort I think we call a "pink". This little thing is outside
pretty much on it's own. We have had weeks of freezes, several ice storms
one of them making everything look like icicles, and a good Christmas snow
of 4 - 6 inches. That little plant is still out there green and I almost
swear it is still not just green but even growing some! Tough little
critter.
