Remember me telling you about the turkey vultures that roost in the trees 
on the back of our property? Well, they are back!! 7 of them!!! We also 
have a new woodpecker, the Hairy Woodpecker. Beautiful fella! I just love 
all of our birds!!

We also have discovered a new critter living in our blackberry bushes, a 
Marsh Rice Rat. My grandson and Ed built Have-a-Heart traps so we could 
catch one and identify them. Don't know exactly what to do with the fellas 
now that I have idented them. They are not really rats but a variety of 
mice. I have mousers (cats) but these guys are BIG!!!

Going to clean out the veggie garden today to plant near the end of the 
week. I am so glad it is finally Spring. I don't count the fact that we are 
supposed to get a snow dusting on Friday.
