Ranchmama, we had a lawn mower with a riding sulky 50 years ago, 
and it was wonderful fun!  My daughter used it to ride right up a
cherry tree. She was 9, and the tree was no more ...

I used to tie on a kookie deep wheelbarrow in the rear, fill it with 
burlap, and put my little baby on top inside as I mowed the lawn.
Took her about a minute and a half to fall asleep. Was the talk of
the neighborhood of course, buzz buzz buzz .....
