Hi Ed,

I don't think trying a variety such as Solar Set will do much for you
unless your taste is drastically different from the majority of us.

I wonder about your lack of satisfaction with Brandywine.  It is generally
considered to be one of if not the best flavored tomato.  It is fairly
susceptible to diseases and is not as prolific as some but those things are
accepted in favor of the superb flavor. 

Where did you get your seed? Was it pure?  If you like, send me your postal
address and I'll send a sample of Red Mortgage Lifter VFN which seems to
give excellent results in any location.  I also have seed of Brandywine as
well as over four hundred others.  All of my seed is available at $1.00 per
