Dear Paul: I believe the Kudzu of China is different as the herb/root is imported from there for the medical use by health food manufacturers. However, a person could make a fortune if it is the same both from the locals in the South to rid their terrain and the homopathic/health food groups not to mention AAA. Mary-Anne
