Hi Justine, Unfortunately, as I stated, the garden is located at my friends house and I am trying to make it as convenient for him as possible. That's why I got the timer (I can program it to water for 2 hours every 4 days..etc). I don't have the luxury to check the soil every day :^( So I'm really trying to find out quantitatively how much to water each plant. Each plant has a 1 gallon/hour dripper on it. Best regards, Greg Park -----Original Message----- From: Justine.Tamaro@centigram.com <Justine.Tamaro@centigram.com> To: Tomato@GlobalGarden.com <Tomato@GlobalGarden.com> Date: Wednesday, July 14, 1999 10:49 AM Subject: Re: [tomato] Drip irrigation systems >If it's not blazing hot, I think a once a week deep watering is sufficient. >It has been over a 100 here for several days in a row, so I've been giving >my plants a deep watering every 4-5 days.
