They're a Russian variety that is supposed to have very delicate, almost ornamental style foliage, medium sized red fruits, and I believe, fairly compact growth habits. They're not silver, nor do they look like a tree in any way. I'm curious how they got the name. Perhaps a translation quirk? Regards, Laurie Wappingers Falls, NY
