For the past two years, I have had serious problems with Septoria Leaf Spot. Last year most of my tomatoes had died by mid september. This year they lasted a bit longer and a few resistant varieties almost made it to the first killing frost. Part of the problem is that I planted too close together and some trees block much of my afternoon sun. While I plan to resolve these two next year, I would appreciate any help folks could give. I pick up as much debris as possible in the fall and do not throw it in the compost pile. It is not practical for me to rotate, since my space is not large enough to move the plants more than fifteen or so feet from where they were previously planted. I have not been spraying (I more or less grow organically), but I am at a point where I would consider using something. Bill McKay in E.
