My wife, whom I love dearly, has but one little annoying quirk, she tapes 'Live with Regis and Kathie Lee' and is usually watching it when I get home from work. She called me downstairs last night to watch a segment she thought I would enjoy. I guess they are filming the show in New Orleans because of Mardi Gras and they had selected four New Orleanians(?) for a segment on hot sauce. They put out samples of these sauces to see who could take the heat. Three out of four made it through the last of about five sauces, quite generous doses, I might add. The sauces were (and I can't remember all of them) 'After Death', 'You Can't Handle This Sauce', 'Tongues of Fire', 'Scorned Woman'. I think Regis wanted to see people screaming in agony..... too bad, he was obviously dealing with REAL CHers here. The best part of the segment, though, was when one of the participants kissed Kathie Lee on the way out. The face she made was gratifying to say the least. BTW, the Chipotle Meatballs were a big hit at the Super Bowl gathering.
