I'm trying them both today in chicken salad sandwiches! I would agree. I admittedly have an addiction for smoked dried chiles, especially chipotles and habaneros. I prefer them on most foods, but did like Calvin's powder on foods like fish, vegetables and some pasta dishes where I didn't want to overwhelm the subtle flavors of the food. Harry
