CH's I responded (with mucho qualms about it), asking them to not spam the list. As I feared, they just harvested my e-mail address as valid, and added me to their mass mailer. I've received 2 more spams from them today. Ain't this just *lovely*. Anyway, I think these guys are semi-legit, in that they're actually trying to provide a service, but have no clue about how to go about it. So they're probably easily traceable, and an e-mail to 'abuse' at their ISP will probably work well. But I don't really want to get their account cancelled (even if it's possible) - I really do think they're just a bit misguided. So I'll sit out a bit more spam before I do anything. But in the meantime, it's probably not a good plan for any of you guys to walk in my footsteps - your e-mail addresses will likely be recorded and used, even if they're not sold to a spam mailing list 'service'. Which they may be - my opinion of Potato Patch legitimacy is just that- an opinion. ------------------------------------------ Greg Metcalfe <mailto:biosphere@proaxis.com> http://www.proaxis.com/~biosphere Web Solutions For Any Budget
