I recently purchased a brand new shiny red Ford F-150 and wanted personalized
plates. I was under pressure to come up with my 3 choices at the dealer. Since
it was a truck and I live in Illinois, I get to have a number first. My first
choice was "8HABNROS" ... like ate habaneros. My number 2 choice was "2BASCO".
I can't even remember what my third choice was.

Anyway, I got a letter in the mail the other day congratulating me on my new
personalized plates that should be arriving in the next few weeks. For some
reason, my first choice got ruled out. And I guess somebody already had
"2BASCO", so the wonderful state of Illinois issued me the next in the series:
"3BASCO".

Oh well ... I gues it makes for a good story.
