Wuz in the new Big Y Sooper Market in Plainville this weekend lookin' for peppers (didn't have anything but a few ratty lookin' long hots and jalapenos) but found a good selection of ethnic stuff, mainly Thai and Vietnamese, that I haven't seen in any of the local grocery stores. Had the usual New England Selection of hot sauces, running the gamut from Frank's to Tabasco...but also a selection of Walker's Wood stuff from Jamaica which I have never seen locally. Bought Jonkanoo Pepper Sauce ($1.69), Scotch Bonnet Pepper Sauce ($1.69) and Jerk Savory Sauce ($1.98). Anybody able to comment on these? Oh yeah...in the Ketchup aisle (this is New England remember) where they keep the Tabasco and Frank's and Durkee's there were 4 bottles of Dave's Gourmet Insanity mixed in with the others. Gotta be at least one closet Chilehead with a sense of humor back in the stock room. :) JB -- ********************************* John Benz Fentner, Jr. Unionville, Connecticut, USA http://www.geocities.com/~jbenz/ "Lex Non Favet Delicatorum Votis" *********************************
