Actually did make it to the festival as planned, but was unable to stay more than a couple of hours (spent more time driving from Richmond than at the festival) due to some friends playing in a baseball grand final. Didn't see the CH table (didn't really look as can't remember it being mentioned on the list). Saw Michael but he was busy pleasing the plebs at most times and didn't get a chance to say gudday. Enjoyed the festival - loved the different sauces (although the imports from US are a bit $$$ for me - still bought a bottle of Kryptonite to try). Rum habernaro wings were nice at lunch - distinct variation on my normal buffalo wings - great flavour - would be great with crispier wings. Tried the chilli beer - can't say I liked it - didn't really taste like beer or chilli. Found I got good results from adding a teaspoon or so of the Kryptonite to a bottle of beer (my girlfriend thinks I'm crazy - but this is no change). Variety of plants was incredible. Didn't intend to buy anymore but still found myself walking out with 6 healthy plants - particularly liked the "Purple Prince". Potted out front of my unit I've been getting good comments about its great looks. Bought the Pepper growing book I've seen recommended here - can't remember the name - it's well worth buying - best and most complete reference I've yet seen. Overall, very much looking forward to next year. Have girlfriend's promise to drive me home so I can stay late and have the odd beer and chilli (or twelve). tony ============================ Tony Davidson ACA (IT Specialist) Partner - MicroSol - for all MICROcomputer SOLutions e-mail: tonyd@microsol.com.au web: http://www.microsol.com.au ph: (02) 9687 9011 fax: (02) 9687 9030 PO Box 3281, Parramatta NSW 2124 Level 2, 48 Macquarie Street, Parramatta NSW 2150 Public key available at http://www.microsol.com.au/td.sig (or send email to tonyd@microsol.com.au with "PGP SIG" as the SUBJECT (without the quotes)).
