Perhaps members of the illustrious Chile-Heads list can help me with a purely (well, mostly) hypothetical question: Does anyone know of a good resource out there in cyberland or in bookland that outines the legal and regulatory hurdles for someone who wants to sell a new food product to the public? (Specifically, a hot and spicy item -- hypothetically, of course) I'm thinking of sticking my baby toe into the commercial world, but want some facts before I expend much effort.
