I've got a question for any chile growers out there. I'm new at this grow-from-seed thing, so I put together my growstand, hanged the lights, got the "sterile" starting mix, and happily sowed my chile seeds. Within four days, I saw the beginnings of life in my mini-greenhouse. Nothing prolific, just some sprouting stems here and there. But they looked funny (really leggy and with small, rounded, un-pepper-like leaves). Well, yesterday, when the thick stemmed, larger leaved _pepper_plants_ started sprouting, the obvious was confirmed: something else is living with my seedlings. (Since I also started some bell peppers with one seed per cell, and there are two wierd sprouts coming out of one of the cells, it's even more obvious.) So the question is: any idea what these things are? Are there weeds in my seeds? I'm planning on snipping these guys below the leaves, but should I take any more action to avoid dealing with them again (like pulling them, if that'd even work without disturbing the pepper seedlings)?
