As Im in the Construction Industry myself and Generally Come after the Drywall stage as its Called in the US of a /e.g. Painting I have for years told people here in Oz to use Plasterboard to break down their soil. Our soils here in Oz / coastal regions IMHO ,are generally either 4-6 inches of top soil over shale or sand both of which need Building up and as the Great Aussie dream is to own your own Home "Damm the Cost"> some of the new home Owners are Strugling when it comes to the Garden having spent most of their money on our over-inflated land prices and Building Costs . so any work they can do on weekends at minimal cost is a bonus - Its quite hard work to break drywall into small scraps by hand ,I personally used a Tiller that my late Neighbour had . 1/2 a gallon of gas was good for about an hour of mixing ,didn't take the paper off either Luke In Oz > > > > > > >Phil >wpcody@mindspring.com > >When the situation is desperate, it is too late to be serious.
