Had to throw in vote for my favorite inexpensive hot sauce: "El Yucateco Salsa Picante de Chile Habanero". It's sold in many local markets, including some of the big chain grocery stores here in South California, for about $1.79 per bottle. There's a red and a green variety, but I only only recommend the red - the green is mediocre in taste and has a horrible color, reminiscent of fresh lawn mower scrapings. The red variety is made in Yucatan from roasted habanero peppers, and although there is vinegar in it, it's only a minor note in the wonderful overall taste. And it's DAMN hot, too. -gregg- -------------- "You don't stop laughing because you get old; you get old because you stop laughing"
