The black molds are often caused by excessive moisture. It is not uncommon in habs. Pitch 'em if you're squeemish. If cooked, I can attest that the mold seems to have done no permanent drain bamage :-) I cull them out & use them for personal stuff like tinctures or bug sprays as it does not affect heat or flavor.
