I concur. I've had a several friends try to "out hot" me from time to time, and a few have succeeded. On more than one occasion though, I've noticed they we're in pain doing so. Bottom line...if it's not fun, don't do it. Don't make it so hot that you no longer enjoy your food. Try to balance heat with flavor. Next: (ref Marguerite's corn bread recipe) try adding a can of creamed corn to that. It makes it nice and moist. Yummy!
