No, there is no cultivated variety of C. cardenasii. This is a wild species, not one of the five domesticated species of Capsicum. Unfortunately, I also agree there is little point in growing it, except as a curiosity. I wish I felt differently. The fruits taste wonderful, and they're really hot, but they are just so teensy tiny. If anyone ever gets a variety of C. cardenasii with fruits averaging even only 1/4 inch (8mm) diameter, please let me know, though I think still slightly larger than that will be required to make it a popular chile. --- Brent
