I think I'm the one who started the last discussion on
this topic, and maybe it is time for an update.  The
postings after mine indicated a mixed success with
receiving issues of Chile Pepper.   I called their 
subscription line which someone kindly supplied to me
and explained that I had not received an issue in
6 months or so, nor had a friend to whom I had given
a gift subscription.   They told me they would
"look into it" and get back to me.  This was about
a month ago.   I'm still waiting......   Maybe after the 
frenzy of the holidays dies down I will give them a call 
back.   Right now there is just too much else to do!
