Reply to Burjin,
try soaking the seeds in a 10% bleach solution for 1
hour, this is a method i am now using to try and germinate some tepin
seeds...
Cage a Kurrawong feed him the HAB seeds and wait with a small shovel..
this is the method I will be using next.
Put said Kurrawong in compost after strangling as the one I have come
visiting has developed a taste for Chiles.
Prune after your last chile comes off the bush, then as dead wood
occours. I repot my overwintered Habs in (River loam-Yellow-clayey 20%
Coffee Grounds 10%, Peat moss 50%, Good potting mix 19%-Not cheep
Dynamic lifter 1%-pelletised chicken manure..wish I could get that
Elephant S**t but Woolgoolga is about 8 hrs drive from Taronga park Zoo.
actually did it just now again, I do this several times a year. Repot
that is ..
No complaints yet..
