Heh heh.....You are correct about the leakage!
Due to that, I also recommend placing a "baggy" over the lid before
inverting the unit after grinding. There can be a considerable amount of
powder trapped between the lid and the grinder that will spill out when the
lid is removed, causing more sneezage!

Have a question: after using, what is the best method for cleaning?
The blade tends to bind (understatement), due to the powder. It puts a
terrible load on the motor. Soap & water makes it worse, of course, and
immersion in water, even inverted, is out of the question. What I have
been doing is use a toothbrush to get as much powder out of the bearing as
possible, dry run it for a minute or so, let it set for a while, then
repeat as necessary until the blade turns fairly freely by hand. So far,
this has worked ok, but maybe there is a better, easier method?

More on topic: the weather persons are predicting a hard freeze for SE
Tejas in the next day or two, and the pequins are still producing! Will
sign off now and go get maybe the last picking of this year. Hopefully
they'll survive another season.

Take care.....from Kurt (CH#1155) in Angleton, Tejas.
