Mary-Anne, The only brand available up here in CT is Empanada, and they are delicious. I don't whirl mine into paste. I open the can and empty it out into a glass jar, though. I use chipotles in adobo at almost every meal. I love the peppers alongside steak, and the adobo sauce is great stirred into rice or on mashed taters.
