>I'm in the market for a digital camera and am wondering how many high >quality photos can be stored on a disk? Thanks. Sunny Conley I used the Sony Mavica FD7 for all my chile photos. It is a pleasure to use. It stores about 20 photos per 3.5 floppy disk in fine mode (versus standard mode which can fit 40) The really neat thing too is that you can take pics of your friends, your friends' kids, dogs etc, then send them home with the disk to pop right into their computer to view, or send to others. At pennies a floppy, it is inexpensive data storage. I bought my camera last 4th of July, since then Sony has come out with 3 newer models. I bought the digital mainly just for chile web photos, and the lower resolution is just fine; though I do have my eye on the newer mega-pixel one complete with sound bytes and 60 seconds of mpeg video... <sigh> janie * Cross Country Nurseries * Box 170, 199 Kingwood-Locktown Road * Rosemont, New Jersey 08556-0170 http://www.chileplants.com * growers of perennials & chile peppers
